Dr. Ivo De Baere is Belgian and obtained his PhD with distinction at the Department of Biochemistry of the Antwerp University, Belgium. After his PhD he was doctor assistant at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Antwerp. He has done post-doctorate research at the Department of Biochemistry of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Leuven, Belgium, at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, Amsterdam and at the LMBMRC, Cambridge, England..

 

Competence

He has particular interests and knowledge in protein biochemistry, protein purification (chromatography and electrophoresis), protein sequencing, protein phosphorylation and in molecular biology, including recombinant DNA techniques, DNA-protein interactions and recombinant protein expression.

 

Experience

Dr. De Baere has mainly experience with patent applications for biomedical applications especially the application of biotechnology in the pharmaceutical field.
